This project goes to show that you can achieve a traditional style yard filled with old world charm, while using modern, innovative products like Urban Turf. That's exactly what Dave Franklin and his award-winning team have done at this heritage home in Brighton, Victoria.
Owners Jodie and David wanted to restore their yard to its former glory after it had been taken over by old, dying pine trees. And what a revival it was! Visitors are now welcomed into a charming, green garden thanks to some clever planting, a new arbour-covered walkway, and our evergreen Urban Turf. It looks great year-round now, with minimal maintenance and no mowing, watering, or fertilising required. A must for this busy family.
To create the new pedestrian entrance, the tennis court has been moved slightly and given some much needed attention. It is the main feature of the yard after all. As landscaper Dave said, "the grass was absolutely shot... there was no way of repairing it, so that's when we got Urban Turf in to help us do this beautiful new tennis court". Not only does it look great, but with our Urban Sport range installed, the court now stands up to the wear and tear from the kids playing tennis and basketball on it daily.
And the new lawn isn't enjoyed by the family alone - their pet dog is loving it too! Our artificial grass means pet messes are easy to pick up and rinse away, while our state-of-the-art yarn is soft on both little paws and feet. A perfect solution for the whole family.
